After 12 years, I suggest:
Change the tires. The rubber is getting hard by now.
Change all fluids and filters. Eg, rear end, transmission, engine coolant, etc.
Start driving the car for at least 30 minutes per month. Cars don't like to sit for long periods.

Clean the throttle bodies and MAF sensors too.

Bleed the brakes. The brake fluid is hydroscopic and will have collected a fair amount of water after 10+ years. If the car is a stick shift, also bleed the clutch system since that fluid is likely to be grungy as well. Replace the brake and clutch fluids with a high quality DOT4 brake fluid such as Motul 600, ATE TYP200 or even Castrol SRF. Also, change the rear differential fluid ... even after only 7,500 miles, it's likely to be nasty. I suspect the magnetic drain plug will be coated with metal flakes from the initial break-in. I agree with Rusty to clean the MAF sensors and throttle bodies since that may help to eliminate the rough idle.
