Finally back in a Z! Looking for some information.
Just got a good deal on a 2017 base model. Purchased some wheels. 20x9 +30 f, 20x11 +30 r, the rears are loaners, ordered the same spec except with a +12. Having some balancing issues at certain speeds, gonna take it back in this week to rebalance. Also it feels a bit sqiurly on the highway, like if I had to dodge something in the road I might lose it lol. Is this normal, the balancing and and how sqiurly it seems to feel now? Stock suspension, no drop.

Welcome to the 370Z forums and congratulations beautiful Z you have there I like those wheels. What tires are you running? Tire size? Have your tires balanced again and I would have my alignment checked.

I'm currently running a 255/35 in the front and a 295/30 in the back. Rears have a slight stretch, I can run a 305/35 I'm sure, nittos in thr future. I have my suspicions it can be due to the off brand tires im running, landsails, but you never know.

My 2009 Touring was anything but squirrelly. But it would do some tramlining on rutted roads; maybe that's what you are feeling.
Or the suspension needs adjustment. First thing I'd do is a visual check of the tires - look for bulges, check tread, etc. Might want to jack up each wheel, give it a spin, and check for any out-of-roundness. If all that is OK, check air pressure. If still not acting right, take to a competent alignment shop.

If the tread patterns are different from the front as they are in the rear, itll be squirrely. I'm not sure unbalanced tires will cause this. Unbalanced tires will cause shaking that comes and goes at different speeds.
Otherwise check your alignment. I had pretty lively steering before I got an alignment and after changing out some suspension parts.

I'll definitely be checking some things out tomorrow. I'm running these wheels on the stock studs as well, is that fine?

Be sure you have the correct hub-centric rings on the wheels; unless they’re already 66.1mm
