New owner in Denver
Hey everybody! Thanks for letting me join! I’ve recently purchased a very nice 40th anniversary edition 370Z. It only has 29k on the clock and even still has that new car smell.
This is my first Z car. Although I’m no stranger to sports cars, having owned multiple RX-7s and yes even a Miata, the 370z is a whole new animal to me. To be honest I wasn’t even in the market for a Z. I stopped in on a whim to check one out and test drive a base model. I was very impressed by the car. But having being bitten in the past by not getting the options I wanted, I passed on the brand new base model. In this case the car had to have at least the big brakes and a VLSD. A few days later I got a call from the dealer saying he had the car I wanted. I went in and saw it right after they took it on trade, almost as the previous owner drove off. It was love at first sight. I didn’t even drive the car before I bought it. Silly, I know. I requested they put the car on a lift so I could see the undercarriage. The car was just as flawless underneath as it was everywhere else. I signed the papers and drove it home. I look forward to being part of this community and learning about these fabulous cars. Thanks again! |

Actually I’m open to suggestions. I would like to do an oil cooler, and some more sporting pads and rotors to take it to a track day every now and then. What mods do you recommend?
