Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 40th Anniversary Edition 370Z. Got a great deal on one in Florida with only 20k miles. I started looking for 370Zs after I had a tire blowout on the highway with my 2008 350Z Roadster that put it in the ditch. When I saw this 40th, on ebay, it caught my eye right away due to the low mileage and great condition it was in along with $2,000 in aftermarket upgrades. Here's the auction that I won with a bunch of photos of the car: Nissan 370Z 370Z 40th Anniversary | eBay I live in northern Maine and will be flying to Florida on July 10th to pick up my 370Z and drive it home. I've included some shots taken during ZDayZ 2014 of my 350Z, which I am selling, in this post. I already plan on making a detour out west a little ways to drive the Tail of the Dragon again before heading home. I'm very excited about this and happy to be a part of The370Z community |

Nice, I lived in Hollywood till I was about 10 years old. That drive home is gonna SUCK! Id transport it and save the gas and miles. I did the FL to NY drive a few times, its bad. The Z is not comfy more than a few hours. Z dayz drive in it I was screaming to get out haha. Have fun with it!

Shipping any vehicle to where I live is ridiculously expensive. It would cost more than two and a half times as much as it will to drive it back. I figured if I can do the 1,400 mile drive to ZDayZ in one stretch, taking the weekend to drive this back shouldn't be bad.
I plan to drive The Tail of the Dragon on the way back. Will also be stopping to add paint correction/Opti-Coat Pro and tint which I would have to go out of my way for if I had it shipped. |

One thing I noticed from the pictures of the 40th in the link you sent. It appears the owner either has a steep driveway or goes to areas with steep inclines. As the chin spoiler on the front of the car looks to be pulled forward from where it has been dragged. I would want to put this car on a rack to check and make sure everything underneath is in good shape. Always a good idea when buying anything used. Good luck!

Thanks. I didn't notice that as I'm not really familiar with what it should look like. I'll definitely be bringing the vehicle to a Nissan dealership to have it checked over. I also want them to check to see if the recall on the ESCL has been done and have it done if not. It seems to be a common issue on the 09-10 370Z and I don't want to end up stranded.

That sounds like a perfect way to get acquainted with your new car. A nice road trip sounds great. Good idea to have the car put on a rack at a Nissan dealership to check for issues/recalls. Congrats & have fun. Nice 350 too.
