Hello All...
Vern here, from E. TN and I just purchased my first ever Z. I recently retired at the end of April this year and decided to get rid of my "work" car and get something that would be fun to drive. I spent a lot of time looking for something in the 2011 to 2013 model year range and found several possibilities, but most of them were several hundred miles away, or they were gone before I got a chance to pursue them. Then one popped up locally and hit all the check boxes for me. It's really nothing terribly fancy, but I really liked the Gun Metallic and definitely wanted the manual trans. Mileage was average to a bit low for a 2012 and it had obviously been taken care of. It's a base model with the Sport Package and a few mods already done to it and I'm really enjoying it so far. So for now, I'm doing a lot of looking and reading and learning about my new adventure.
I spent a lot of time on fast motorcycles, but haven't really had a performance car since the early 70s, kind of at the end of the muscle car era of that time. I spent a lot of years on sportbikes and did hundreds of track days, both as a customer and as an Instructor for SportBike Track Time. I retired from doing track days at the end of 2017, so basically I'm just relaxing, having fun, and enjoying retirement. Last edited by triplethreat; 09-18-2020 at 08:53 PM. |

Welcome to the forum you old fart.
Retried from doing bike trackdays in the mid 2000's after having a hip replaced at the age of 47. Retired from work in 2016 at the age of 60. Do trackdays with the Z now. Post up some pic's and what mods you got.
