Default Nissan 370z nismo, bought in March 2017 - thanks to this Forum!!

Hello everybody,

Wanted to thank everybody on this great forum as they helped me already couple of times with my new buy.

Bought 2016 nismo in March 2017...

!!! discovered through this forum that my hard ride was not nismo specific but because #$#&!!!!! Incompetence from garage as they did not remove the spacers on suspension.... would never have thought of it myself

!!! Found a solution on this forum as my trunk did not wanted to open...just a penny/50 CENT solution..

!!! Saved myself a trip to garage after installing the OEM footlights and the airbag sign kept blinking. . Again found the SRS reset solution on this forum.

Enjoy ur 370z ride as much as I do...and hope to meet on the road

Greetings from Belgium, Europe

Ps: I do not find too many 370z enthousiasts here as we are taxed very high on the bad co2 characteristics and other people prefer to pay double, just to have a Porsche badge and less fun

Welcome to the forum! Great choice going with the Nismo. I too had a Nismo with front spring spacers not removed. I only found them by chance when doing my oil change.

Just talked to someone in Belgium today. Maybe you know him. His name is...

I kid.

Congrats on the purchase!

If the penny trick doesn't continue to work, you can also remove the weight on the lid. Pop the plastic off and unscrew the weight in the middle. 15 minutes at most.

Hello, could you explain what weight you mean and how to remove or is there really already a post about it?

Thanks
