New forum member, New 370z!
Hi there!
Finally got approved to the forum a few days ago. Thought I'd say high and post a pic of my new 2014 370z Base. Picked it up from a Nissan dealer with 7800mi and windows were already tinted. I've already installed a Borla catback exhaust and purchased real red pearl plasti dip with a red base for the rims. I'll upload a pic in a week or so when I finish the dip. You can see the plasti dip im going to use here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gipMpQy4c_s The whip, freshly hand washed and waxed: Last edited by N3rdR4ge; 06-17-2017 at 10:16 AM. |

Thanks guys!
I love the Borla YYZ. Ended up costing about $875 from amazon which was amazing. A place near me installed it for $100. It gives it that nice low, angry sound I was looking for. The stock sound just didn't do it for me at all and I couldn't hear anything inside the cabin unless I stomped on the gas. It is not a lot louder but it adds just the right amount of sound so I can hear where the RPMs are at windows closed. Good sound improvement outside and looks fantastic too. It might be in my head but I felt a small performance boost. Only had it for two weeks at that point so it's hard to judge. I'm sure you'll be very happy if you go with it. I think my next upgrade will be the RJM Performance clutch pedal. I hear it makes a big improvement with the how the clutch feels and overall driveability. Here are some pics of the Borla exhaust and some other easy mods. Thanks, I just place an order on amazon. I'm looking for something I can hear but not loud. My son has a Borla on his RX 8 and it is exactly the volume I'm looking for. No drone as well.

good hint to not remove the air bag sticker. I'm always worried working on cloth parts. or could you clean the marks? |

Thanks!
A few people say that they took the whole visor off and took a heat gun to it. Apparently that breaks the clip most of the time. The sticker looks like its woven, bit it is just strong glue. Unfortunately, it is impossible to remove the glue ring. I left my visor on and just pulled very slowly around the edges. Tried a hot hair dryer but it didn't help. It was very hard and almost took me an hour. There is still a little white residue and I had to use tweezers to get some parts off. Overall I consider it lucky I didn't damage the fabric, but it was worth not having that ugly sticker in my face. I don't even notice the ring. |
