Help with fitment? New Z owner 😀
New MY09 370z owner, not too familiar with fitment of these cars yet! 😬
The rims i bought are 20x10.5 +15 rear and 20x10.5 +25 front. Im fairly set on 255/35 for the front but as far as the rear should I go with a 305/30 without any spacers? Or should I add a spacer and run a smaller tire? The smaller the tire the more affordable so I'm really wondering what size tire with what size spacer you all recommend. Thanks in advance! |

Same width wheels are usually 20-25mm different in offset's.....rear's are sunk compared to the aggressive front's.....A 255/35,305/30 tire combo,is better suited for 9/11" stagger wheel's.
Gonna be stretched up front & bulging out back. What are your camber spec's? lowered? etc...?

I'm all stock at the moment but plan on lowering soon. So aside from the 305/30 idea, say I wanted to put a 15mm or so spacer on with minimal camber, what size tire would fit without too much fender rolling?

Not dodging you;got called in for work today.
Look up some thread's on Z's that run rear Nismo wheel's on all 4 corner's....19x10.5+23's,,,you may be able to get 275/35's on the front, also it would never hurt to test-fit some good used tires up front to see...I have 285/35/19's up front on 19x10's with stock suspension/camber,no rubbing scraping...but your wheel lip's are 0.75" further out, heck you may be fine,,,i'll stick a front wheel pic up.

Wow that's perfectly flush and meaty at the same time! I'm wanting to do like a 285/30 rear with a 15mm spacer possibly but that may look silly without being lowered =( maybe I should do a 265/35 or 275/35 rear and throw some 15mm spacers on so it won't look too weird until I lower it? I've had so many lowered cars I never knew it would be so hard to decide on tire fitment lol

The spacer's for your rear, would just bring the wheel out to evenly match the front-you won't necessarily know how much; till you get your front tires in check.
Sizes close to oem would be 275,285/35(F/R) or 285,295/35's.....with car being heavier in front-it would make a more even fitment on wheel (F to R) with just a 10mm difference in section width & same profile/series of tire...+ would give you a slight rake. If those are too tall to clear the front....could go 275,285/30's....285,295/30's or even 295,305/30's. It's whatever float's your boat.... 1st thing-get the front sized & fitted first, before purchasing a complete set...other's may chime in & help you with this.
