Default New Nismo Z owner with a couple questions

Greetings! Im a new member here and just purchased my 2015 Nismo Z tech. Absolutely love the car, I've had a handful of G37's in the past but this surpasses my amazement. What an incredible car.

So Im debating adding a few modifications.

First and foremost I need a plate relocate kit. I saw Stillen makes one, i love the concept but it said it excl Nismo? Does anyone know what about it doesn't work? Or any similar brands that offer it.

Next Im contemplating a suspension upgrade, I love the Nismo suspension but driving around downtown Chicago can be pretty rough, as I'm sure other Nismo drivers would agree. What coil over brands offer a nice set up? Not looking to slam it or anything, maybe lower it an inch tops, I just want a smoother ride. That being said I want to try and keep it between $2-3k. I debated air but dont want to lose my entire trunk due to compressors and tanks.

Sorry to just join and post all these questions right away, Ill be sure to look around and pay my contributions! Happy to be a new Z owner

Congratulations on you're 370Z nismo. I can tell you that I have a 2016 Nismo Tech. and I want to be carful on what mod I make because is a nismo and nismo have all the goods.
The 2015 is the same so be carful the air suspension will not be as good as the nismo one
Good luck with you're Z and enjoy it, What color is it?

I completely agree. Thats one reason I'm leaning more towards coilovers and not air. Its nice being able to switch on the fly but its quite the commitment. I also saw Fortune Auto offers an aircup kit for their coilovers? I wonder if anyone has tried them on here.

I got the pearl white, man do I love it. What about you? My next choice was magnetic black

So I found a tow hook meant for the nismo and that is ordered. Now just searching for suspension... Maybe KW V1?

I suggest you do some research first about the plate relocation kit. I have read somewhere that it is not long enough to clear the 2015 Nismo 370Z bumper. I bought the mower axle plate relocation kit and I am very satisfied. Great craftmanship and product quality. It is adjustable as well so you can position it the way you want it to be. I'm not in any way associated with the company but here's the website: Carrera,Cayman,BMW,Tow Hook License Plate,John Deere,Kubota

By the way if you feel that the ride is rough, you may want to check if the spacers have been removed. There have been a lot of complaints about the rough ride until they found out that the spacers have not been removed. These spacers are installed so as not to damage/scrape the underside during the shipping process. This applies to the Nismo 370Z models. Thank you Caal, that is actually the exact plate kit I just got. Looking forward to receiving it. Also thank you for the tip I will have to check that out. I really appreciate it!
