New to me 370z
I "just" picked up a 1owner 11' Silver Touring-Sport 6sp with 58k on it. I've owned a few other Z's in the past 300zx and a 350z got to admit its a hell of an upgrade.
Bought the car on 6/30, and put 170 miles (drove across FL to purchase it) and on the drive home found 6th gear to grind. The following morning took it into Nissan in West Palm and dealer told me they would give me a new transmission, which would be put in and ready for me the following day. Each day I call in, they would say its not ready. So finally yesterday I called and they advised the tranny was in but the tech wasn't able to bleed the clutch. Fast forward to today 7/7 I come in wondering what's going on, and they advised the clutch master went out while trying to bleed it so that had to be ordered. Not too upset since Im getting new parts, under warranty, and with a free rental but, I literally bought my car and haven't had it in my possession for more than 24hrs. From what I can tell: Stillen catback Exhaust AEM long-tube intakes Password JDM Shifter I'll update pictures later on tonight. Old Z Last edited by Silva91; 08-28-2015 at 03:36 PM. |

Welcome and congrats on the Z
FYI, you are going to have a hard time finding a stock shift knob as they are nearly impossible to remove without destroying them. May be better to find a aftermarket knob of your liking.

Roof wing is disgusting...and if I was getting a tranny and clutch free dude they can keep it a month. And they are paying for the rental...chill you will be back in your new whip soon. Congrats and welcome to the family!

Congrats!
Thought I was going to be able to fix you up with a stock shift knob, but I must have given it to someone else. If not, I'll post later. |

Enjoy your Z!
Engine looks very clean to have that many miles. Nice find!
