I am gonna pull the trigger on a Z and wanted to know what would be better for autocross . Please chime in .

Manual is better for everything.

Manual. I'm pretty sure you won't find anyone autoxing an auto Z, at least not competitively.

Personal preference would be my suggestion OP drive them both, give them a little gas and see which one you would prefer.

There are plenty of members here that drive AT in Auto-X, its simply choice.

The AT can "shift" quicker than any manual can that's for sure, fun factor might be more along the manuals.

Let me rephrase that. Check with the top guys running 370Z's at the national level. I suspect not a single one of them is running an AT.
