Are you looking for a road course or dragstrip?

Just as EastWest suggested, there is Capital Raceway (1451 Capitol Raceway Road, Crofton, MD 21114) and Maryland International Raceway (MIR, 27963 Budds Creek Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659). These two dragstrips are on the south side of Baltimore more in the DC and Southern Maryland area.

There is another dragstrip about 45-mins or so north of Baltimore, past Aberdeen. It's Cecil County Dragway (1916 Theodore Rd, Rising Sun, MD 21911 (410) 287-5486). Another Baltimore area dragstrip is Mason-Dixon Dragway (21344 National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713 (301) 791-5193 ).

In terms of road courses, as someone already pointed out, there is Summit Point Motorsport Park (201 Motorsports Park Cir, Summit Point, WV 25446) and Virginia International Raceway (aka, VIR) (1245 Pine Tree Rd, Alton, VA 24520 - (434) 822-7700).
