They were putting up all the banners, air fence, and other stuff for the Moto GP race which was really cool.

Details please! HPDE event? Event sponsor? Cost? Run group qualifications? Driver's Edge has been talking about going back (they were first to run it), but not scheduled and expected to be pretty expensive. Also may only run advanced groups

You should venture over to the track forum if you want to stay informed. There are several groups that put on HPDE events at COTA. I did that first Driver's Edge event last year and the event above was with the BMW CCA. There is video from both events in that thread.
Edge Adventures, who is a spin off of The Drivers Edge, is also having and event at COTA later this year.
