I know the GTR is called Godzilla

I had a 2009 GTR35 Black Edition last year, as the 370z is the one below the GTR she will be known as the 'Mini Zilla'...very suitable IMO

can some light be shed on that exhaust. The piping seems like its a good 12" longer then it needs to be. Its like the muffler needs to be turned 90 degrees so that looping around the mufflers doesnt happen.

Is there a purpose to that other then it looking kinda neat?

in honesty....I have no idea of the 'benefits'

apart from it looking cool...more like a musical instrument than an exhaust IMO
