Chick Magnet: Car or Driver ?
...as I waddled through life today, on a rare midweek day off, I found myself noting that it was around lunchtime just as I was passing a Hooter's. Being and adventuresome type, I decided to stop.
Now ... after I parked, close to the door and sandwiched by handicap spots (seemed safe) ... I was greeted by several Hooter's girls. This seems to happen frequently (not at Hooter's I hardly go there), so I found myself wondering today ... is all the attention because of the sleek dagger like silohuette of the 370Z, it's Black Cherry coat shimmering in the new found spring sunlight undecided if it wants to be purple or black, gleaming and freshly clean all the while growling like a tiger as I navigated the car into the parking spot ? Or is it, perhaps, because of my stealthy 212 pound, out of shape, old and gray, fat *** form that I represent along with my shiny white teeth eerily exposed by a **** eating grin as I exit the vehicle ? I dunno ... but wanted to share a few shots nonetheless.

Well - it's probably neither. Having been to a few Hooter's in my day, I'd say they are just doing their job. They are nice and friendly to every man that walks into the place. They certainly treat me like I'm Brad Pitt - and I'm an ugly @ss 52 year old fart. I enjoy it, but I don't kid myself either...

I think it's the "the370z.com" sticker. It's one of the privilages of going 'premium'

I'm a Corvette owner... have owned a number of them and I'm here because I'm thinking of getting a 370z roadster as a DD so I'm use to the attention but to be honest I pay it little to no attention at all. In the case of Hooters the girls pretty much do that as part of the job. But in any case I never really read anything into it... thats not why I own the cars.
So if I'm approached about them I thank the person for the comment and pretty much just move on. I know that the 370 if I buy it will get a lot of comments but again I'm use to it.... but I don't pay it much mind. |

I had a beautiful pearl white 3000gt vr4 for 13 years and girls never commented on it. I have had a 370z for two weeks and have had 3 young girls comment on the car, in a fast food spot, a gas station and at the mall parking lot. I'm an old fart so that has something to say about the car.
