ColtronZ's Journal
I purchased my 2017 black cherry Z base in the beginning of October 2017.Had my eye on this car for years and finally graduated college and got a job that allowed me to buy and modify my car.
This is essentially my first car and joined here not long afterwards. I'm learning a lot about the Z and vehicles in general from being here. Thought it was time for me to make a journal as I frequent these forums. Finally got my switchback halos installed. We did black cherry on the housing and black on the side reflectors. More photos to come.

Thanks to an awesome fellow forum member and some forum patience, I was able to buy some Z1 intakes and install them this weekend. Solo it took only about 2-2.5 hours. Removing the old intakes probably took the most time.
I definitely noticed a difference in sound, everything paired sounds even smoother. I noticed in 6 or 7th gear pressing on the pedal for the car to shift lower it doesn't bog quite as much and actually picks up a bit faster. Well worth the investment even if not that big of difference on paper. I do have a re-tune scheduled on the 27th of April with someone highly recommended in the Tampa area, so I will post the results here.

Got re-tuned this weekend by RS-Enthalpy in Tampa. I was previously remote tuned for the time being but finally put it on the dyno.
I gained about 15hp in the mid range and 10 up top for 318hp total. My car and responsiveness feels way more fluid and the experience of this tuner really shows over my previous. I would highly recommend RS-Enthalpy if you are in the bay area. Dyno sheet and some flames found over at https://imgur.com/a/xoepOgx (My phone must take photos that are too large in file to upload as attachments. They never work on here, sorry for the Imgur link)
