Shurik's 2015 front Nismo conversion
It's been a while sence I posted anything. Started modding again
Finally going with the front Nismo conversion. Got all the parts and almost ready to paint the cover now. Did a few modifications before paint work. Cut out the center grille which I thought was ugly. Looks a lot cleaner now. The blue tape lines on the bumper is marking on how im want the bumper pained. Went with Evo-R DRL LED lights. Wanted to go with CarbonSignal DRLs but couldn't wait for 12 weeks to receive them. So Evo-R it is. Carbon Signal front lip and sides are coming later though. And a quick recent picture of how she looks now. Last edited by shurik355; 05-05-2018 at 02:09 AM. |

What’s going on in the rear? The first gen Nismo side skirts doesn’t flow well with the new front bumper imo. I think it’s better a match with your base sideskirts and adding some side blades.

This is how the new bumper looks with the original sides. Looks out of place completely. Last edited by shurik355; 05-05-2018 at 04:36 AM. |

No the pic of the car in the first post has 1st gen nismo sides. 2nd pic above just an example of how the Nismo bumper looks with stock sides.

Like I said, base side skirts and side blades, not just the base side skirts by themselves. There’s a guy around my here mixing the gen 1 Nismo rear and sides with a 2015 front bumper and it just doesn’t flow with two different styles, but that’s just my opinion.

I went with 1st gen sides, cause i got 1st gen rear nismo as well. You know, even the side blades with base skirts look out of place with 2nd gen nismo front, those side blades doesn't change much. I know, everyone has their own opinion Last edited by shurik355; 05-06-2018 at 03:46 PM. |

Ok bumper is painted. Paint match was a pain! what a hard color to match. Those 40th anniversary colors are tough, the hardest color to paint/match from all the Z colors.
Hopefully the color match looks good once i put it on the car. Painted the grilles and lower part of the bumper in matte black there. |

Not much interest here on this... but anyway I installed the new bumper. Custom Grille was installed as well. Looks much better than the factory grille that I cut out. Made this custom grille look genuine, and look good. Now waiting for the emblem, front lip and side skit add ons to finish the look.
