Bflo370z's Gun Metallic 370z
Hey guys I figured instead of posting up everything in the "what did you do with your Z today" thread, I'd make my own thread. I'll update it as I buy parts and I didn't expect to do so much so soon
I always wanted a 350z since they came out but I picked up a g35 coupe instead to be more practical. I had that G for 11 years. I put a lot of time into it. It had stance coilovers, volk gtc's, motordyne tdxv2 exhaust, Nismo headers, spl front+rear camber arms and rear toe arms, Stillen sway bars, B&M STS, polished engine bay+ partial wire tuck. For a short time, I had a vortech supercharger on it. My one daily that was extremely fun, especially being in Buffalo when we could get 2 ft over night was this 08 LGT Spec B. I got rid of it because I needed something I wouldn't modify. Nearly went stage 3 and then sold it and bought a g35x. Okay so now for the Z.... I made the hard decision an sold my G coupe. Two weeks later I agreed to by my Z that I wanted FOREVER. First day I bought the car and drove it from Pittsburgh back to Buffalo. Someone was looking out for me because the day I went down it was in the 40s....in Feburary. No lake effect snow on the I 90 I bought the car based on pictures and knew it had some stuff already done to it such at GTR push start, pioneer head unit and speakers, Beluga exhaust and tint. Five days into owning the car I changed out the exhaust with a Motordyne e370: Before After I put the car away until the end of March and waited for the snow to melt. Once I got the car out, I did some paint correction: Then I decided to paint my headlights. It took about a weekend because I took my time and wanted to make sure the paint was completely dry. I made the mistake of not letting the paint fully dry on my Legacy GT headlights and when I put them in the oven, they hazed real bad on the inside. Before After About two weeks ago I installed Swift springs. I don't have any before or after pictures. HOWEVER, I do have pictures of my powder coated stock Rays that I just picked up from the powder coaters! I also added 20mm spacers from b2 and SPL rear camber arms. I'm very happy with how they turned out. I had 6500 different colors to choose from and about 200 shades of bronze. It took a lot of time finding a picture on google images and then creeping entire car forums to find the name of the bronze I liked but I'm glad I did. There will definitely be more to come as I already am figuring out my next three modifications that will happen this month. Thanks for looking Last edited by bflo370z; 05-03-2016 at 08:11 PM. |
