StevenShocker's 2015 Nismo Build
Hello everyone! This is my first build thread for any car I've owned and I'm proud to say it's a 2015 nismo. I purchased the car back in February and since then I've done a few tasteful mod to get me going, but we all know how it goes when we do one mod we keep on modding and it becomes a addiction.
Well on to the pictures! Update as of 7-19-15 this how the car currently sits: When I first picked her up. Mind my buddy trying to be a model in this shot. Lol. My first mod to the car were weathertech floormats & GTR stop/start button. Shortly after I picked up a Tommy Kaira shift knob from a local member for an amazing price I couldn't pass up. I love how it feels in the your hand. Nice and solid piece! It started warming up here in socal so I knew I needed to get tints. So that's what I did. Ceramic tint all the way around and I'm loving it! Now exhaust upgrade. I knew I had to go with the best in town so I went to Fast Intentions. I had placed an order back in April for an FI exhaust with 18 inch resonators and carbon fiber mufflers. All I can say is WOW. The craftsmanship on this exhaust is out of this world. Tony and the FI crew are all kind and the shop is top notch with some nice shop cars. Here's a few pictures I was able to snap when I was there. Great stuff here. Tony was kind enough to go over with me the twin turbo system they make for these cars. Everything was explained in detail down to the T's. Amazing experience here Thanks again Tony for your hospitality! By the time I was finished with the exhaust install I got a call from one of my favorite shops that my BC racing coilovers and SPL rear camber arms have arrived. I set up an appointment for install this past friday 7-17-15. Everything went smoothly coilovers are awesome with the swift spring upgrade! Rides really smooth compared to previous coilovers I've owned. Got my install done at 9KRacing in Whittier. Great people here they have always gave me the best pricing on anything I needed. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks again Joey! So I had my set of TE37's to throw on so they went on with everything.. Here she is at the alignment shop! On the floor looking pretty. Fitment isn't finalized yet. I'm looking into picking up meatier tires and getting the wheels refinished. I'm most likeily removing the little fender flare that's on there for a more cleaner look. Thanks for looking everyone. Expect a lot more to come in the future! Mods list: Tommy Kaira shift Knob GTR Start/Stop button Fast Intentions exhaust with carbon fiber mufflers BC Racing coilovers with Swift springs SPL rear camber arms TE37's 19x9.5 19x10.5 Future Mods: Boost Carbon Signal CF interior pieces Upgraded rotors/pads/lines Last edited by StevenShocker; 07-19-2015 at 03:24 PM. |

wow looks good. i like the red
careful with the carbon fiber cans, especially at your ride height. they can't take a beating like the SS ones.

Looking Great!!! Car looks much better with just the drop and the nice set of wheels already vs the stock look.
You know what I never liked with the new Nismo?! Those fender, and quarter flare moldings that stick out. Takes away that flush wheel look from your car. You should take them off. Just an advise. |
