Years ago, I used to play a game on my computer that was similar to Breakout, but it included add-ons to one's paddle (lasers to shoot bricks, a magnetic thingie that made the ball stick to the paddle, etc). Does anyone remember that game & if so, what was it called?

^I remember playing that in the early 90s. "Arkanoid" is the Breakout remake I played. I'm sure there were others. Twas so fun

The one I played was circa 2003. Like you said, there were many versions.
