My dilemma
Currently I have a 2010 370Z with several mods to both exterior and interior. I love my car to death, has to be by far best vehicle I've ever owned and driven. It was my second car, so I would drive it every now and then to work and on the weekends. I get compliments about her every time I pull it out the driveway and decide to go on a little joy ride. But...I just had my first child exactly 3 weeks ago and had to give up my second car to the mother of my child because she had a 350Z. I no longer have a second car and unable to have my daughter ride in the car with me because it's a two seater.
My dilemma is, I'm really considering letting the love of my life go for a Camaro SS or Genesis coupé. Only reason I'm thinking about doing this is because they both have back seats. I'm just looking for a sports car to stay in with a back seat smh. Any ideas? I really love my Z and don't want to see it go... We can't do anything with her 350Z, it has to stay (long story). |

yah, just get a cheap box and keep your Z.
making sacrifices for kids is only healthy for you and your child if you are absolutely happy with your decision. dilemma = not happy, forced to choose. if ur not happy, your child will not have the dad your child deserves. |

I was in a similar position as you up until two weeks ago, but we settled it by getting my wife into an SUV which enabled me to keep the Z. Problem solved. My wife got a brand new car as her first Mother's Day gift, and I am now the greatest Husband/Father in her eyes

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Looks like I'll be looking for another used car with 4 seats to keep the Z. Especially since my brother just got a 5.0 and keeps challenging me, I need something to keep his mouth shut and the Z is the solution...

It'll be a challenge for him to keep it running... plus your Z looks better!

I speak from personal experience: I chose not getting a sports car for the sake of my 1st born son and regretted it immensely it even though I bought a WRX. It still sucked@ss! I should have bought a used a Tahoe or Expedition which I ended up buying later anyway!!
Also, your car has zero to do with being a great Dad, your kid won't suffer at all. You and your wife??? well... that's TBD~lol
