Gamers? Assetto Corsa / Project CARS

Any gamers on here? and by gamers I mean those that play racing simulations on consoles and/or PC?

The two games that are most currently talked about right now:

Assetto Corsa | Your racing simulator. The most realistic PC racing simulation

Project CARS - Home

Both are out now and both look fantastic.

PCars is probably the best looking game of the two but AC is definitely better for realism/racing feel.

I have not ordered PCars yet as I have barely had the time to fully play AC but I am sure I will very soon!

Running AC with this setup right now:
Fanatec GT3 RS V2 with the CSR Elite Pedals

I've been looking for a shifter but really don't want to spend $200+ on a shifter. Was about to DIY one since it looks simple enough, just haven't had the time to draw it out.

I use my old fanatec Porsche turbo s wheel and club sport pedals mounted to a playseat. I like it

I've been a bit busy so I let my subscription lapse, but when I do sim race I'm usually on iRacing. I have AC as well and play that from time to time.

I enjoy Iracing's physics. Wish they would license more cars, but I feel that about almost every racing game.

Yeah I love iRacing, but god is it a pain in the *** (and expensive) to keep up with it. I was a member of the 100% content club for a while.

Love the racing, though. Always good fun if you happen to be in a practice session or race with one of your heroes! Happens more on the oval side, but I've had some encounters with a few of the pro road racers as well.

For putting around, though, I really enjoy AC.

I'm on the fence about PCars...already spent too much last month on other games, GTA V and other small things.

Additionally, I feel like I will need to update my video cards to handle all that rawness! I'm only running a 2GB GTX 680 =/

Thinking about SLI or just grab a 970 (or a 780 Ti if I find one for that price!)

I have Pcars (PS4).. no wheel or pedals though.. It's weird, the game is great but for some reason I don't get excited to play it.
