Been lurking for a while. Figured it's time...
To introduce myself...
Greetings from Alabama. My name is Cedric Hall, fellow motor-head. I'm only 40 years old, but love cars older than myself. Computer Geek for the USAF and lover of anything with a motor in it. I own a 2011 370Z Sports Package 6MT as my daily driver. Nothing special done to it yet... Here's the only picture of it I have here on this computer... z.jpg Not sure if the crowd here will appreciate them, but here are some of my other toys... My Pride and Joy 1970 Buick GS 455 Stage1. Was too busy to build this one myself, so I brought it like this. Not many know about it, but it's the highest torque rated stock muscle car of the muscle car era. 510 ft lbs of torque. True sleeper with the Stage1 package. Not a very famous muscle car since it's a Buick, but Chevelle and Hemi owners know of this car well... mebuick.jpg 1984 El Camino SS with a 350 TPI and 700R4 from a Corvette. Don't mind the wheels. Was test fitting them for a friend so he could sell them to someone else... Cars My Popz and I own and fully restored together. 1970 Torino Cobra 429BB and a 1969 RoadRunner convertible, 4sp, with AC (1 of 17 built with that config)... I'll post up some pictures of my workshop and some of my other toys later. This is all I have access to on this computer. Nice to meet everyone... |

Well Cedric we've all been waiting for you to show up, it's about time! Lol.
The GS is an awesome ride. When I was a kid my buddy's dad was a service manager at a Buick dealer and brought a GS home, and took us for a ride .... And what a ride! Still brings a smile to my face!: You also have quite a collection ..... One you and your popz can be very proud of! Last edited by old guy; 07-20-2016 at 07:50 PM. |

Thanks Z-Girl. Ironically, I have a small motorcycle collection as well. I have a GSXR1000 tuned nationwide drag racing champions Steve Johnson Racing. It's still on stock suspension because i like twisties and the occasional wheelie when the roads are clear. I also have a Yamaha RoadStar for long distance trips, and a Suzuki Z400 quad for off road adventures. Be safe out there on that Bike!!!

Old guy. Good to hear there are some muscle car heads around here. I get allot of strange looks when I go to the car shows and get out of a car that is older than I am. I appreciate the modern conveniences and engineering that goes into our modern cars, but there's something about the feeling of feeling a big block V8 with a heavy lope shaking the car, and having the slight smell of gasoline cologne in your clothes that's addicting as well. I had a 2006 Pontiac GTO that I traded in with a whole lot of cash to get the Buick. It's good to hear that there's someone around that appreciates the car. Most people don't even know what it is in a swarm of Chevelles and Camaros, even though it's faster than most of them.
I'll get more pictures of my Z this weekend. The only thing I've done so far was to do the iPad in the cubby, and a Beluga catback. Probably going to go easy on the Z since it's my daily driver, and I'll have to drive my gas guzzling Tundra while the Z is down. Edit: Oh yeah. We just added a 1971 Cuda to the collection. It'll probably take a few years for us to restore it. Very hard to find parts for that car, and we do all New-Old-Stock parts instead of running down to the local parts store... |

Ran out to the workshop to take a few pictures of my other recreational toys. That's the Buick on the car lift under the car cover...
Forgot to tell you all about the golf cart. She does 32 mph!!! Oh yeah, somewhere under that pile of crap is another project. I took a Hammerhead go-kart and I'm actively adding a Kawasaki Ninja motor to it. The motor is mounted. Just gotta figure out the shift linkage, wiring, and sprocket configuration. I should get hurt quickly on this once it's running. Any College football fans here? Auburn Football fan here. SEC!!! |

Thanks OldGuyFla. The 1970 RR is one of my favorites. Do you ever wish you held onto it? Nice looking Roadster by the way...
Thanks JARblue. Seems like a good group of people here on the370z.com... |

CedzZ, what a collection! I had to chuckle over the golf-cart!
Welcome aboard. It'll be fun to see what you do with your Z!
