New Owner in the UK
Hi all,
After a handing back my company car 11 months ago i have ordered a new White My16 Nismo, just waiting for delivery in on August the 12th. I have been looking at options for the last 6 months but it seems the 370z is the most fun i can get for my money at the moment (previous cars include Supra, A3 & TT so i dont mind the lack of storage room). I started the test drive request with Nissan GB around 8 weeks ago and the test car only took 6 weeks to turn up (after many many phone calls and promises) but as soon as i saw the car in the flesh and drove it, i knew i wanted it. The thing that i cannot belive is the amount of negative reviews about the car (e.g. Nissan 370Z Coupe Review | What Car?), when i finally got to drive the car it was everything i expected and more, ok the exhaust isnt brilliant but the engine noise makes up for it. The other thing that is playing on my mind is that the UK MY16 comes with a Euro6 engine, I know these engine are meant to be better for emissions but i cannot find any information that this effects performance compared to the Euro engines. Anyhow will get some pics uploaded when it finally arrives.... only 6 weeks to go.... Charlie |

Welcome!
Great choice for your new toy. Is it just the Nismos that are scarce or Zeds (sorry, trying out my 'british') in general? Post pics and fill us in on engine differences when you get the info |

Congratz on the purchase of the Z! Welcome to the forums and Hope all stays the same when it arrives. It truly is a great piece of machinery.
I too am curious on the difference between the Euro6 and our is.

Welcome and congrats! I too noticed the amount of bad reviews on the Z. But Nissan has refined things here and there throughout the years such as the gear box etc...but after driving mine for a few months it really is a drivers cars and there isn't any other rwd front engine car in this class enjoy

After missing 2 delivery dates and being notified that the car is currently somewhere wet on a boat until the 8th of September, I have just found out i finally receive the car on the 12th - 15th of August , they managed to release one from another dealer.
I Started the test drive request on April the 4th and finally got a test drive on the 6th of June ( ordered the car that day ). The last couple of months have been very long and boring. fingers crossed everything happens OK next week and a car turns up. I test drove the MY15 model so I might be able to say if the differences between that and the MY16 are noticeable, mainly if the ANC is terrible or ok. Thanks for the welcome. |

Congrats. It is a fun car to drive. I read the article. It is mostly accurate (dated, noise, & blind spot) What I don't get is the negative feedback on the size of the boot. It is a gd sports car.
Post pix. Want to see a Euro spec vs. USDM.
