Nothing like a New(ish) Z
So, I've had 3 different models of the 300zx since I was 17:
Red '84 2+2 (at 17, this was such a cool the car.) Black '95 N/A (sold due to being 21 and having more speeding tickets than originally thought possible by myself or my insurance company) White '91 N/A (purchased many years later. Daily driver for the last 6 years.) But, I recently caught the bug for something a little newer and when asked what my choices would be, I would always reply that there was really only one choice... I just needed to find the right color for my 370z. I finally found the right one just outside of Atlanta and after one test drive, I was hooked. '09 Touring with Sport Package. Manual with SynchroRev. Just barely past 40k miles. Flawless inside and out. Here she is in front of the slightly discouraged White '91 the day of the test drive. I got her home and started modding almost immediately. Installed my double din head unit (AVIC 8000NEX) for nav and such. Removed the Nissan Hamburger logo from the front and replaced with a proper Z badge. Tinted the windows (35% ceramic). Plasti Dipped the front teeth and rear diffuser. Then the roof (not happy with this, probably going to remove it and go with a gloss black paint or vinyl.) And, just last weekend, dipped the rims. (What a difference!) Sorry for the bad pic... didn't think to take one until it was late. Still to come is a reverse camera, full steering wheel button integration, and possibly a new shift knob. I'm loving the forum so far. Thanks to everyone for all the help that I've already garnished from its pages. |

Welcome to the forum! Are you gonna do anything performance wise to it? How about wheels? A new car needs new shoes!

Performance-wise, I'm in no rush. This thing already out performs every other car that I've ever owned... but, a little meatier rumble from the exhaust would be welcome. I guess we'll see. |
