Default Exhaust questions.

Ok i want more horsepower and loud sound, and i was woundering how much am i looking at spending for the complete exhaust system, and what is the different between Like FI or G readdy exhaust than just going to a shop and having them put all the pipes and like a magnaflow or flowmaster exhaust system, and one more thing does any of the exhaust out there make the car sound like a big v8. thank you guys.

No idea about which exhaust is "best" but it's never going to sound like a V8 and certainly not a big V8.

You could start by listening to the sound clips in this thread and then expand into youtube searches.

i believe almost all the exhaust promise about the same power 15-20hp. if you ask here everyone will tell you to get FI... the person that provided that sound clip data base, click on it and listen to which one you like the most and get that one.

Exhaust alone is going to cost you $900 plus depending on what flavor you go with. Test pipes or HFC's will be another $200-400. A tune is not absolutely necessary, but the benefits are well worth it.
