I installed a K&N Typhoon intake and filters, and my check engine light has been coming on ever since (Code 0300 - Random cylinder misfire). The dealership looked and it said the car doesn't feel like it's misfiring when they drive it, plus they didn't find anything wrong with that could cause this problem. They said Nissan will tell me to take off the intake before they do any other tests since that's possibly the cause of the code.
It's going to be really annoying to switch out the intake, do you guys have any other tips? Do intakes cause codes to be thrown? |
