No idea what exhaust is on the car
Hey all,
Bought my 370 a couple weeks ago, used, from a dealership. What I've come to figure out is that the exhaust on the car is definitely not stock. Is there any way to tell what brand it is? (markings on the exhaust etc.) Or should I just take pictures/video and post it here for you experts to figure out? |

Most of the nicer exhausts have the brand name etched into the cans or tips. I wouldn't expect it on the cheaper, eBay exhausts, but you never know.
Did you see any markings on the exhaust? Post 'em up if you did - someone might be able to help. Though I suspect if there are markings it would just be the brand, making it easy.

Totally could be an ebay exhaust, but the sound is nice. The car was a voluntary repo from the last owner, he couldn't make the payments, and the cold air intakes he installed are junk so I think he was living a little outside his means. I didn't see any markings or anything when I looked, I'll get pics and a soundclip uploaded when I get off work later. Last edited by gregg9; 12-03-2014 at 01:22 PM. |

For sure the axleback was replaced.....looks like the AAM axleback that I have. Hard to tell from the pictures of the setup up to the cats. Maybe the rest of the exhaust is stock and only the axleback was replaced.

Probably AAM -- tails without mufflers or resonators. Those are fine, if you like the sound, and VA cops have better things to do than pull people over for their exhaust.
Might be worth checking to see what's installed in terms of headers/cats too...
