As far as I know GarageLine still has resonators on them,so I don't know how much of a sound change there would be, but the performance increase is through the better design of piping X is better than the stock Y design. I feel most of the exhaust note comes from the axle back portions, resonators really are just to help remove harsh and raspy sounds to the overall sound. IMO getting resonated test pipes would be a better upgrade though a little more expensive, you might be able to pickup a second hand pair in the for sale section if your not in a hurry.
