Default Exhaust leak changing tone of exhaust?!

hey guys so i have an exhaust leak on the drivers side where the y-pipe meets the high flow cat...i saw it leak as the car ran so its pretty significant. im getting it fixed tomorrow but just to make sure...with an exhaust leak is it normal that the tone at low end like 1k to 2k rpms changes a bit? like its a bit louder and maybe raspiness? just making sure. i have no ses or cel so i think my hfc to manifold gasket is ok..i got those replaced once already. thanks guys. btw i have motordyne e370 with berk hfc

Yes, it's louder and sounds crappier when you have an exhaust leak.

What are you guys talking about? It sounds awesome!! Lots of people have done the Gasket-mod-formerly-known-as-the-Washer-mod

**that was sarcasm** exhaust leaks are not a good thing - glad you're getting it fixed
