berk exhaust hfc vs stock exhaust
hey guys i just want to make a quick thread about people opinions about berk exhaust. i bought my car with berk on it and im broke paying off the car so theres rlly no money for mods. i love the sound of it. today a kid said i need a new exhaust and that berk sounds stock. (his parents buy him everything and he drives a genesis 2.0 AUTOMATIC) lol anyways he was telling me its quiet and not deep and that i havent heard a nice 370z exhaust. i want motordyne but i have to PAY for it not my parents . so im just a bit frustrated because hes my friend and hes saying **** but anyways how do u guys think berj compares to stock?

I have the Berk and HFC's. I love the sound. Berk knows what they are doing, they primarily build custom racing exhausts in Formula D. The berk sounds exactly as I want it. Not loud at low RPM's and then it opens up at higher RPM's.
I can tell you that it definitely seems like it has gotten louder than when it was first installed. Not sure if these things have a"break in" period but it definitely sounds different than when first installed. Your friend is probably a fan of what we like to call "fart box" exhausts. You know the sound I am talking about. That is not what a good exhaust sounds like. Besides I bought an exhaust as a performance enhancement, not a fart noise maker-which is what a lot of those exhausts are.

Bro...The Berk set up is far from sounding stock....IMO it's one of the sweetest set ups around...No Drone or Rasp even when paired with HFC's...Absolutely a classy sounding exhaust...
GSS138 is absolutely right....Berk has been in the game for a while and specialize in exhausts....If your friend is saying the Berk sounds stock and that "you haven't heard a nice 370Z exhaust" then he doesn't know $#!T about exhaust systems...especially concerning the 370Z....I've gotten a lot of head turns and compliments with the Berk. When it comes down to it, it really is about what you want or the exhaust tone you like....If your want something loud to impress your friend then maybe you should go for the Meisterschaft exhaust...

I have boiled it down myself between berk and motordyne. Before I bought the car I really wanted fast intentions but as I looked into more now that I bought the car I think it is a bit flashy for my tastes.
I'm thinking that from what I can tell from over the internet the motor dyne may be a deeper sounding exhaust but I'm not sure if it is too loud for me. Can you get a resonator for that one like the FI?? If so maybe I'll go with that. I'm torn maybe I should just flip a coin haha |

I have Berk HFC & CBE and really love the sound. With the HFC's it's not a super deep sound, it's more like a formula 1 race car sound. But it is way louder/deeper tone than stock. And performance wise, the Berk set-up is one of the best. My car put down 324 whp on the dyno which is about as good at our cars get NA. I think my Berk exhaust has a lot to do with those numbers. I love the look, sound, and performance of Berk. Win, win, win.
