Hey guys, I just purchased a 370z sport touring 6speed. I wanted to use K&N drop in filters, but would I really gain anything?

Old topic but I just got a set yesterday and the throttle response improvement is... shocking. I didn't expect anything noticeable but it's a lot more violent from low revs.
How much of that is due to getting rid of 46,000 miles of road dirt and how much is the "better" filter is open for debate.

bigger improvement was found when i got the Z1 tubes. not much but smoother than OEM. you can use a K&N or an AFE dry filter, your choice
