Air intake and test pipes, thoughts?
I just purchased a used 2013 Nismo with 700 miles on it. I want to give it a little bit more HP.
I'm thinking about adding Stillen Generation 3 Long Tube CAI and Fast intensions 370Z Non-Resonated Test Pipes. It's a big jump in HP for little $$$ Has anyone else done this? Any thoughts? Suggestions? Please let me know what you think, BIG Daddy |

I have short rams and test pipes on and I love them. Long tubes would be even better.

Yup im running Gen 3 intakes.. They are definitely the best intakes you can put in the Z. Big gains

As everyone has already stated Stillen Gen 3 are definitely the way to go. Call Tony at Fast Intentions and he will help you decided the right F. I. exhaust set up along with either TP's (non or resonated) or HFC's (non or resonated). FYI....you will be looking at possibly three to four month wait time for the F. I. exhaust, but it is well worth it.
When it comes to exhausts you have to ask yourself what is it that your looking for. Do you want a unique sound or squeeze every whp/wtq possible? In the end it all boils down to how much money are you willing to spend on intake, FCB, and etc.

Go with either long tube headers, or resonated test pipes. I went with non-resonated test pipes for the lightest possible weight, but the rasp is terrible!
Stillen gen 3's have nice proven gains, but there's also the Nismo long tube intake.

Stillen G3s are great but you get very little added power for a large cost, K&N dropin filters are effective and cheap. Test pipes (resonated if you want to minimise the rasp) are cheap and give the most amount of power. Just make sure if your state checks emissions that you hold onto your stock cat.

i say get berk test pipes(~$200) or topspeed resonated test pipes($175) or topspeed non resonated test pipes($150) or megan resonated test pipes($140) if you're gonna spend a lot on test pipes, might as well get art pipes since they kill all rasp
