Any CAI issues going through deep puddles?
Just installed the Stillen G3 cold air intake and was wondering if anyone has heard any horror stories of going through deep water and sucking any water in through the CAI.

I have yet to read any stories of this.. Unless you are doing river or lake crosses with your Z you should be able to avoid going through anything THAT deep.

Yeah, you could hydro lock with G3s if you call your car Moses and you try to part a sea with it.

Dont know anyone dumb enough to drive into a puddle deep enough to get water into the G3's im pretty sure there over the bumper area unless your driving into someones swimming pool i dont see it happening or if your taking it off roading and if you are off roading you need mental help

I tend to stay away from deep puddles anyways for reasons other than hydrolock. You never know what lies beneath! the intakes are high enough to not worry about it. just keep you splash guard on to make sure.
