HELLO EVERYONE...SO JUST FINISHED INSTALLING THE Z1TUBES THAT I GOT FROM ANOTHER MEMBER ON THIS SITE, shout out to him,,great seller..anyways I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF ITS NECESSARY TO RESET THE ECU ON THE Z?? I HAVE TWO WAYS OF DOING IT THE BATTERY DISCONNECT AND THE GAS PEDAL ON AND OFF WAY!!! BUT MY QUESTION STILL REMAINS DO I GO AHEAD AND RESET IT OR JUST DRIVE IT LIKE THIS AND LET THE COMPUTER LEARN BY ITSELF??
DO I RESET IT RIGHT AWAY OR DRIVE IT A FEW DAYS THEN RESET??
I WELCOME ALL THE HELP AND INPUT AND THANK YOU GUYS IN ADVANCED,,,
have a great 4th of JULY WEEKEND! !!

I put the same tubes on a few weeks ago, didnt reset the ecu and have had no issues.

You shouldn't need a reset for intake tubes.

I forgot to mention I also installed K&N filters, but i am with you guys i just dont see the need of resetting the ecu for something this basic...thanks

Same mod here except i have mishimoto tubes. I disconnected the negative when i installed and it took 45 min to do so that should be wnough reset right there. If you don't disconnect though. I don't think it will matter. The ECU will reset as you drive for this type of mod.
