Default Best intake for low end?

I know the topic has been discussed 1000x but I have not seen anyone really discuss lower end power. I have FI CBE and HFC's. I do not have a tune yet and am looking for better low end power versus top end.. G3's still the best bet or something else? Price is not a major concern as long as it isnt something exotic..

Thanks

Most intakes make negligible gains under 6500rpm. I made low end gains with my intakes, but it could have been from my pulley's too. The stock boxes are very efficient down low. They choke up top. Now an M370 intake manifold will help you get what you are looking for.

Maybe I will need to look into the m370 manifold. I have not studied this yet.. I need as much low end as I can get as I am constantly driving in the city.. I do plan on going TT over the winter but I am impatient when it comes to things..

If you're going TT this winter, I probably wouldn't buy anything more than just the post maf tubes and filters. Anymore is just a waste.

As far as the M370 goes you might want to wait till Doran develops their own intake mani. Won't be cheap but will definitely be worth every penny.

They will be design an intake manifold mainly for their car I presume which run high rpm (shorter runner for more power on top) if Chemy is looking for more down low,, the M370 is his best bet...

Actually...we won't be able run it on the RC for Grand Am.... But maybe somewhere else.

The objective is to make a seriously improved performance part...and it will be at all RPMs ... Not just high or low.
There are flaws in both the HR (m370) and the VHR manifolds.
