Finally got around to installing a Nismo exhaust on my Z (only installed the muffler - waiting on installing h pipe once I install everything else ready install for a tune) and man the car is so quiet now. Rev matching is now nearly 100% quiet if I'm shifting into under 4k rpm. Pretty eerie actually!
Sooo... Nismo owners, I imagine your mufflers are incredibly restrictive (basing that just off of sound). I'm imagining even with the h pipe it still won't be enough of a 'racey' sound. Should've just gone with Fast Intensions! Maybe some HFC's will help out? On a side note, I turned on the car without any muffler, and it sounded really good! I love the 'pop' sound on throttle lift off. Just thought I'd share.
