Default Nismo Catback for 2013 370Z Sport Touring

Hey... is the Nismo catback a good way to go? My dealer has one he's itch'n to sell and it comes with a factory warranty. I'm also looking at a set of JWT intake "Pop Chargers" at the same. Both come with factory warranty.

Has anyone installed the Nismo catback on their original 370Z with good results? How about the sound quality??

Thanks,
Ken

Overrated. There's much better CBE's out there (fast intentions being one of them). Also do a search on this as this subject has been brought up numerous times already.

What is the dealer selling the exhaust for? Depends on th price. Could be a good deal or a ripoff let us know so we can further comment. For a couple hundred bucks its not bad but for 400 or over then save your money and get an aftermarket.

LOL.... how much does he want for it.

Personally id go for an after market CBE, FI or motordyne, better gains comes with warranty too and wont void your nissan warranty.

Youll hear the FI and kick yourslef for buying the nismo.

I have the S tune nismo exhaust and i picked up 12 rwhp... So yes i got good results. I do want a louder system tho. saving my pennies for the mesisterschaft system.

i don't know why everyone is saying FI and mototdyne is gonna give you better gains. those systems are just louder

Ive got the s-tune also. Not any louder than stock really, but tons deeper. I got a great price on it, and thats the only reason I got it. At full price, there are definitely better routes to go for loudness. The sound/tone is fantastic!

Nismo exhaust is honestly a waste of money cause its practically the same as stock, so many better exhaust systems out there. For example AAM short tails are about $400.

If you buy new a lot of companies actually have warranties on their catback systems. Nismo one barely gets any power at all, and barely sounds any different. I'd recommend the Invidia Gemini if you don't like loud exhausts, as that one is fairly quiet. Also makes like 3x the power of the Nismo one, if not more lol. If you want a loud exhaust, there are plennnty of other options out there Fast intentions, Berk, Motordyne, just to name a few.
