What Exhaust Is This?
Hello,
I bought my 370Z used a few months ago and it came with an aftermarket exhaust and everything else stock. I just don’t know what brand it is since I don’t see any branding or anything. Does anyone recognize it from the pictures attached? Difficult to take pictures of the whole system on the ground, but I can put the car up on a lift and post more pictures here if it helps. My next question after knowing the brand is what you would recommend being the next exhaust piece to add that would match up well with the current setup in terms of sound and performance. My goal is to add parts one at a time starting with full exhaust, then intake and tune and maybe E85 in the future. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you |

Looks like that’s it! That was quick...impressive!
Sounds okay for now but will likely be switching it out in the future. In your opinion, should I do something like high flow cats next? I want to do headers last (after intake and tune etc.) and I don’t think I’ll do a mid pipe just yet since I want to replace the Beluga Racing exhaust with a different catback. Thanks |

What about the current exhaust do you not like? High flow cats are good to get you a little bump in power. They’re probably the best option because you’ll get ALMOST as much power as full test pipes, but with less noise, less smell, less emissions, etc etc. Headers won’t get you much. For the hassle they are to install and the cost for a quality set, most people skip this on a street car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It all depends on what your goals are. Are you just looking to add some growl to your Z? Do you intend to autox or track the car? I/H/E has always been a common starting point for mods. Although, the exhaust manifold mounting points are notoriously difficult to access on our Zs. HFCs or test pipes might be an easier choice. Coilovers and other supsension mods can make your Z a lot more fun to drive.

Once I settle on one, I’m definitely turning to intake and tune then suspension. |
