Default Z1 air intake vs z1 maf tube/k&n filters

Hello all, looking for some feedback on the z1 air intake (or equivalent).
Alot of back and forth on this one. Car is runs good and strong (12.9@109)
2011 Z
ISR long tube headers
Z1 maf tubes k&n filters
Ark grip exhaust.
Admin tune.
The tune made a world of diff.
My only real complaint is the (like a lot of you) is the throttle response on this model , especially compared to my DE Z.
Not sure if pulling trigger on these would be worth it.

Any competent tuner can modify throttle tables in the tuning software to correct the throttle response issue. Your best solution is to find a new tuner.

Go for the intakes if you want. Not sure why you haven't already with your other mods. Biggest difference you'll probably find is the metal tubes will heatsoak your engine bay increasing IATs when stopped thus further exacerbating a slow throttle response off the line.

Well don’t get me wrong, the throttle response is far better than stock and uprev
Tune, it is currently tuned via ECUTEK. The IAT issue makes sense with added heat. The car does seem more sluggish in higher temp.

I would strongly suggest researching about your current tuner to save your motor before she goes.

As for intakes, I have dyno tested the 2.5 intakes, 3 in intakes, and stock intakes with dorp in filter and Z1 maf tubes. They were all almost identical power wise (within 1%) Don't waste your money on intakes.

Finally a honest answer. I actually use dragy for my own test n tune. The maf tubes and k/n increased MPH alone. I love it (dragy) it’s about dead on with actual track time. Good deal I will leave it alone. Lots of hate on admin. Had my 350z de tuned by him. No issues. And I beat the snot out if it 🤷🏻*♂️.
He also made the 370 far quicker than uprev (ETune )..
but that’s another topic. I appreciate u response.
