Talking Full bolt-on numbers

Posted a dyno graph previously for HP figures for my full bolt-on Z. I switched out my Berk HFCs for a custom test pipe and I gained 20whp and 13 lb/ft of torque. Here is the new dyno graph.

Car is tuned with UpRev on a Dynapack hub dyno with 3 mods:

HKS Hi power catback
AEM V2 intakes
Custom non-resonated test pipes

Note: Ambient temperatures were probably a few degrees cooler from when I dyno'd it last year. Today was around 28 degrees celsius.

No way. +20 whp from changing from HFC to test pipes? I'm sure there's a dyno explanation for it. When I switched from stock headers and HFC to z1 headers and test pipes AND E85, I didn't gain that much power.

Edit: What kind of custom test pipe do you have?

Yeah I was completely blown away too. I was honestly expecting 5whp max but I'm definitely not complaining. Might have to do with my car still being relatively new and less wear/power loss over older Zs.

My test pipes were originally berk HFCs that had the cats cut out by L&G Auto over in Markham. They literally just welded in a piece of pipe and that's how I got my "custom" test pipes haha.

Also, I absolutely love my HKS exhaust. It's perfect with HFCs and real nice with test pipes too. Not too loud and has probably the CLEAREST exhaust note of all aftermarket exhausts out there. Definitely brings out a nice sound of the VQ. With that being said, I'm thinking of going full 3in Vibrant titanium single exit this year cuz I got a few leaks I want to get rid of and also save some weight.

Tbh I'm not even sure if they're actually called V2 but they're the latest offering from AEM for our cars.

versus these ones which I can't seem to find for sale any more

Although as I'm searching these parts up, I'm realizing it might just be a different intake system instead of v1 and v2

They are quiet at idle, a little louder. but loud and sounds great when romping on it.
