Default V2 Resonated Short Tails by Tarmac Sports Vlog

Tarmac Sportz in the UK now have a new version of their resonated short tails for the 370z. Available for standard 370Z and Nismo versions.

I had the V1 versions before. In this vlog, I test the new V2 versions (and get to check out some awesome 350Zs along the way).

Thought you'd find my thoughts on these interesting if not entertaining :-)

If your interested in short tails (muffler delete) for our cars I believe the best short tail exhaust for our cars is the AAM Competition short tail exhaust in terms of quality and fitment. I never heard of this exhaust you are speaking of.

The AAM short tails are of course very well known. Tarmac Sportz are one of the larger Z specialists in the UK so more well known here.

As you've not heard of Tarmac Sportz, and therefore haven't tried their product, it would be difficult for you to say which was better without actually doing a back to back comparison. I'm sure they're both great products of course.

The only reason I didn't order the AAM ones originally was because on AAM's resonated short tails product page they say "the emissions canister shield will need to be removed".

The Tarmac Sportz V1 and V2 resonated short tails are designed in such a way that this is not required. You just bend 1.5 inches of one corner of the shield by about 45 degrees and that's it. Maybe that's all that's needed on the AAM ones but it was off putting that they recommended complete removal and I wasn't willing to try it out when I had a great sounding product right here in the UK that fit without having to remove anything.

I can't say which is better either, only that I'm very happy with the Tarmac Sportz short tails. They're extremely well made, fit without needing to remove the emissions canister shield, look awesome, sound amazing and clean... And, as you can tell from the video, I like them a lot :-)

Thanks for watching ;-)
