Default Mind boggling exhaust noise

So I had an ARK GRiiP Exhaust and Z1 HFC’s installed by AWD Tuning and had the car tuned. Seemed to run fine for about 2 weeks and if I attached the link correctly you can hear that annoying noise of what sounds like a Cicada stuck in the pipe. What’s odd is: on the lift, the noise happens after letting off the throttle, when driving, it happens when accelerating at high rpms.
If anyone has any ideas - the guys at AWD Tuning are a bit stumped as well.

It sounds like it has something to do with the hiss our car makes when letting off the gas maybe your cat material broke

Its normal. My ark exhaust did the same exact noise off throttle. VQ hiss. Most pronounced at the X pipe section. Cant do anything about it unless you go with factory cats.

So it’s a HFC issue, ARK Exhaust issue, or a combination of both along with the VQ hiss?? I find that hard to accept...

That sounds far, far louder and different than my VQ hiss with Berk HFCs. Honestly it sounds almost like something's loose in there.

For the sake of it take a look inside the exhaust and the cats to rule out that anything is loose.

Thanks—that’s my next step after speaking with Z1 and ARK to get their thoughts....

I know its hard to believe but it was bothering me too and I also looked into the exhaust and found nothing. Eventually sold it and went with FI exhaust with their test pipes. Still has the VQ hiss but not as bad as ARK did.

Talking

The VQ hiss bits again. There are a bunch of threads on it. Each different exhaust will change it's pitch and tone some what. I think it's neat.

I have the Ark Grip cat back and the FI RHFC's installed and I get absolutely zero hiss (definitely no rattle).

A little disappointed I don't get some badass hissing actually
