Default Z1 headers with MD art pipes

Hey guys I plan on getting headers down the road and want to get z1's branded headers. My only question is will those headers fit correctly with their new 3 bolt metal flanges with motordyne art test pipes

For Z1 headers, you need to use 350Z DE ART pipes.

The headers come with the de flanges as an option. that wont work even if my art pipes work with 350's and 370's??

I was planning to go this direction, Z1 shorties + DE Art pipes. Instead, I opted for Motordyne lth with helmholtz resonators (shorter than art pipe resonators).

The DE flanges are the only option available for the Z1 headers, since they're based off of the Momentum headers. If your ART pipes are for the 350Z HR or 370Z VHR, they won't work.

It will not work unless it is fabricated by you or a exhaust shop. You will only be able to use the DE flanges with the Z1 headers. I recommend not using the Z1 exhaust gaskets unless you want a exhaust leak. Other people and myself have used the FI exhaust gaskets with no exhaust leaks.

Yes, I don’t see why you can’t use the FI exhaust gaskets. Just make sure the flange size matches the exhaust gasket size it is that simple. I had to take apart my exhaust once before to replace the Z1 exhaust gaskets that were leaking. Having talked with Z1 about their exhaust gaskets and the fact that they were leaking they denied that their exhaust gaskets leaked and could care less. Save yourself the misery and get the FI gaskets. Have you considered installing full length headers instead?

I would second this recommendation.

I was running the Z1 metal gaskets and yeah, those things were leaking after a few days... garbage. After that, I ran the Berk gaskets and recently replaced them with Vibrant gaskets when I did my short shifter install. I have the normal FI gaskets on my exhaust and they're good as well. I'd recommend any of those (Berk/Vibrant/Fast Intentions).
