Default Stillen G3 CAI install issues

So it just seems to me like the 2.5 inch coupling hoses are just too short. Like there just needs to be another inch of play in the system to get everything in place. What am I missing? The 2 braces that hold up the hood latch system are the sticking point in the front. If the hoses or pipes were just a little longer everything would go together perfect.

I ordered the 370z kit, but got the G37 kit, is that my issue? I dread having to send this thing back and then wait for the right part to be sent to me for another week. Is there a difference in the kits that's that significant?

The 370Z and the G37 kits are different.

I just did my 370Z with a Stillen G3 kit, and I would not do that again.

Way too much work, and it didn't fit that well.

Notice I sectioned the crash bar and made supports for the tubes.

The Z1 option seems like a better deal to me.

I have installed two Stillen Gen 3 cold air intakes on people’s Nissan 370Z and never had a problem with the fitment on the Nissan 370Z. The Stillen Gen 3 cold air intake is different on the Nissan 370Z and Infiniti G37. You could just get a longer inch coupler and modify it to work or send it back and get the right Stillen Gen 3 cold air intake for your Nissan 370Z.

Yes this is your problem. I had the same issue trying to install the G37 kit on Socce's (forum member name) 370z. He ended up selling the g37 version to me to put on my wife's g37x, piece of cake install on the right car. Not so good on the wrong one.
