Hey fellow Z friends,

So I was looking around for a nice tame and high quality exhaust for my Z and came across Beluga Racing. Everything I found so far sounds GREAT!

Is there really no drone in the cabin on the highway? Does it have pop when downshifting? Is the quality really that good for the price?

Thanks in advance!

There was some discussion on the Beluga exhaust not long ago on this site. I think the take-away was fairly positive given the price. Try a Google search for the thread (use the370z.com in your search for best results)

It depends on what you consider too loud and/or amount of drone you can live with but, tame they are not. I can tell you from personal experience, the Beluga axlebacks were extremely loud in my '16 Nismo and they exhibited a lot of drone/resonance that you not only could hear but feel inside the cabin. It caused everything to vibrate, basically.

Now, keep in mind that I have a very low tolerance for drone and especially resonance. You might find that it's fine. Take it for what it's worth.

I removed them the same day I installed them. I managed to sell them the next day.

Bummer. I really liked the Borla exhaust but Beluga seemed like a good alternative, but I definitely don't want everything to shake in my car especially because its my daily driver. Thanks.

ZSerg - I see you are in my area... I have noticed some really cheap catbacks for sale on craigslist in the area lately. Might check there and score a deal on a used setup.

Nice! I have the black Z thats usually parked by the carwash station. We actually spoke about your car once in front of the office before I bought mine.

Right on! I actually vaguely remember that... Hopefully I left a good impression.

We should meet up some time so I can check out your ride!

I don't know if this is what you are looking for, but I actually have a used motordyne catback sitting in storage if you were interested in something like that.. I have been thinking about selling it instead of using it. Not really in the same category as the Beluga exhaust though.. =)
