Default Twin Turbo + Motordyne e370 ?

I just picked up a second hand e370. Anyone have any idea how loud this setup will be with TT and non-resonated test pipes? Video/sound examples would be awesome. I did see one Youtube video, but the description said the car had open dumps so it's not really comparable to what I am running.

Just wondering if the e370 is going to be too loud for me - hopeful the snails will mute it a little.

Thanks!

Good to hear from you! Hope your car is running well!

You are internally gated as well, yes? How bad is your boost creep with the e370? I already creep pretty good with my 60mm (2.36") Invidia catback so I'd imagine the motordyne magnifies this quite a bit.... leaning towards selling it instead of installing it.

Jayhova , I actually put one on with the 6466 and the 3" downpipe from Sasha to make it a full 3" system from the turbo back. It was actually much louder than my previous 2.5 MXP system both at idle which was a surprise and at all levels from cruise to digging into boost. I've only drove the car once since the install and it's just sitting waiting for the built block to get here. Hopefully I'm 6 weeks out now plus delivery time and install.

Thanks! Can't wait to get it out for this season, but still maybe a few weeks out. I'd like to delete my OEM oil cooler and maybe relocate my filter before I get it out.

But yeah, I'm internally gated still. I had enough creep that my tuner lowered the rev limiter a bit. I chalked it up mainly as not having a return fuel system (I was losing fuel pressure in the top end), and maybe not large enough injectors as being contributors over my exhaust? But not sure....

Loud awesome or loud annoying? =) Mine would still use the 2.5" primaries so I might get a little bit of a break... not sure how my two baby snails would compare to your single adult snail in the sound department.

Who tuned your car - Seb? Where did they end up setting the rev limit? Still waffling on this setup but the price of admission might be too high if I need to upgrade to external gates.

To me it sounded awesome. Not as exotic sounding as the MXP at full scream but definitely VQ awesome. Also the neighbors might take offense to early morning or late night start ups in the garage, but that's none of my business.

No, I went to DB Performance in Rogers, MN. I can't recall the rev limit, want to say it was around 6750/7000?

I really need to get me car out....
