The only thing that I can think of is that the new exhaust is closer to the clutch hydraulic line causing the fluid to boil. If the fluid is old, and the new exhaust is closer or puts out more heat, that heat is making its way to the hydraulic line. Try changing the fluid to a higher temp one (Motul 600) or place a shield between the exhaust and the hydraulic line.
These cars have a notorious habit of boiling the OEM clutch fluid. Mine did it once at the drag strip and the pedal went to the floor for a few seconds and once the heat dissipated, the pedal went back to normal. Keep us posted as to what you uncover. Oh, and welcome to the best forum on the interweb...

If what I said does not work, the CSC (clutch slave cylinder) may be on its way out. Again, this is one of the weakest points on the Z (just search CSC failures) and you'll have reading material for a month .
Just for more information, how many miles are on your Z and are you the original owner?

That's one of the signs that the fluid needs to be changed. This is an easy thing to do and should make a difference in operation. Even if it's not the cause of your problem, this has to be done to rule out the fluid as the culprit...

Non resonated F.I or muffler delete
I'm currently owning a 2nd 370z. . My first 370z I put a Fast Intentions 18" resonated exhaust and after install I truly find the exhaust quiet.. I currently purchased my second 370z and previous owner did a muffler delete. And as far as sound it's just perfect . But I am a Fast Intentions lover. If anyone knows what's louder between the non resonated F.I. exhaust and a muffler delete only . Please message me before I make up a decision.. please and thank you.
