Default GTHaus Axle back only & Full Exhaust Review

Hey Guys,

Just got the GTHaus full exhaust setup installed on my 2015 Nismo Z, here is my take:

I first installed only the axle back portion and the noise level significantly increased and the sound of the exhaust completely changed. Nice roar and some burble as well. No drone. Was awesome as is.

I then got the Midpipe and Ypipe installed today. Very noticeably louder and even more burble. Car now sounds like an exotic super-car... or even better.

GTHaus gets a bad rap for long shipping times however, my muffler shipped next day. After I received the muffler, i realized that their US facility is right next to where i live. (Within 10 miles). That being said, I decided to just pick up the Midpipe and Ypipe and have them install it during lunch (They waived the expensive shipping cost). Very good service and very timely from my experience.

The Berk HFCs are coming in the mail soon. So my experience is for only the catback system.

This exhaust gets an A+

Would recommend it. I'll try to post video soon

Hey Brodie

That sounds good. Congrats on getting hooked up so quickly!

I'm curious, how would you compare the sound of your current setup vs mine? It hard to tell from the video.

Hey Bruce!

Since you have the Berk HFC and the Gen3s I feel the noise level is similar however, I think my car with the stock cats are slightly louder. Still no drone with the full system.

Going from stock midpipes and ypipes to the full system, the tone of the exhaust did not change much. The volume was very noticeably increased especially on the higher rpms.

I think its worth comparing in person once again!

Sounds awesome bdawgs. I have the mid and axle back from gthaus, just need the Y. When I added the mid the volume of the exhaust increased dramatically. I do have art pipes that I'm gonna pair with the system so we'll see how that goes. I think vil9j switched from berks to art or maybe vice versa but he is who I got the midpipe from and his Z sounded amazing with both setup's. Enjoy the ride and post a vid once the berks are on. Cheers.

That's a beautiful combo; stunning car, mindblowing exhaust. Can't beat that.
