It would work fine, but you can have your car back faster with a $6 tube of RTV and you'll never notice the difference if the shop cleans up the flanges before applying.

Nope. That's exactly the opposite of the right one. Get the second or third one that Zbrah posted.
I mean, it'll work, but I've seen more of the crappy graphite ones blow out. All metal, sprayed with some of that copper spray and you're golden. Otherwise, goop it up with rtv and pick your car up this afternoon.
